Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is due out in just about three weeks which means it stands to reason that Ubisoft should be just about finished with their initial work on the project.
As of today, that has been indeed confirmed as Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has now officially gone gold. Other than a potential–and likely–day one patch for the game, AC Odyssey is all good to start getting shipped out.
The recent build of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that I was able to play seemed really polished, so I had a feeling that the game had pretty much been wrapped up at that point. If you haven’t checked out my impressions from my time with Odyssey just yet, be sure to do that.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to release next month on October 5 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’d like to pre-order your own copy ahead of that time, you can stroll over to Amazon right now and do just that.
#AssassinsCreedOdyssey has gone gold!! 🍾🎉
We hope you’ll be enjoying playing the game as much as we did developing it and can’t wait to see which paths you’ll choose.
