Today Arc System Works hosted a panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles and unveiled more of the Kill la Kill game created in collaboration with anime creators Studio Trigger.

The full title is Kill la Kil The Game: IF, and it will come to PS4 and PC in 2019.

The first trailer was also showcased on stage, and you can see it below, showing the first gameplay and mentioning that it’ll be an “untold story.”

The game is developed by Aplus. If you’re not familiar with the studio’s name, it’s the same team which worked on the other recent game related to studio Trigger’s anime, Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time.

It will support one or two players, and the genre is described as “KLK Battle Action.” We also learn that the game will be playable at EVO 2018.

If you want to see more, you can check out a few screenshots revealed in June, alongside the original announcement.

One thing is for sure: anime games are becoming more and more popular nowadays. If you want to hear more on whether they can actually be good, you can listen to our Weebcast episode on the topic.
