PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile received a new 0.6.0 update yesterday that brought the first-person perspective to the title as part of the mobile version’s biggest update to date.

PUBG Corporation’s mobile port of its popular PC and Xbox One Battle Royale title has had not only first-person perspective added but also several new features to bring more to the game. A new Mini-Zone has been introduced to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile, dropping one-hundred players into a smaller circle with triple the amount of loot and a play time of about twenty minutes.

An Armory is now implemented which allows players to browse through weapon statistics and analyze the performance of weapon accessories. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile Royale Pass will allow players to complete daily challenges in a bid to earn points and increase their Royale Pass rank. By completing a number of missions every week players can gain additional crates.

For those who have the highest Royale Pass ranks, they’re now able to choose finishes for the airplane and can now unlock and apply finishes to weapons. Another feature added to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile is emotes that allow players to perform in-game actions such as laughing, taunting, and clapping.

You can watch the trailer below to see these features and more in action. We recently learned that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is to be getting a new event pass as a way for players to earn rewards later this week.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile launched earlier this year and is available for free on iOS and Android devices.
