Square Enix is probably aware that a lot of people who would like to play Kingdom Hearts III may be having problems making sense of the whole story of the saga, especially considering the various decimals.

In order to help with that, today they published a series of five videos recapping the story for us. Unfortunately, at least for now, they’re only in Japanese, but they’re definitely well made.

We get the Chapter of Departures, the Chapter of Memories, the Chapter of Twilight, the Chapter of Dawn, and the Chapter of Darkness. Each chapter is narrated as an animated book, and honestly I really hope that we get an English version.

You can check them all out below. If you want to see more, you can check out the first trailer we saw a few days ago at the Xbox media briefing, the one revealed at the Square Enix showcase, and the last one from Sony Interactive Entertainment’s press conference. You can also enjoy the latest gallery of screenshots and some lovely gameplay.

The game will release in the west on January 29th, 2019, and in Japan just a few days earlier on January 25th for PS4 and Xbox One. In case you didn’t pre-order your copy of the game just yet, you can do so on Amazon.
