Slime-san: Superslime Edition by developer Fabraz and publisher Headup Games will be launching this month and a brand new trailer has just dropped.

The title is a 2D platformer that follows the story of a slime that gets eaten up by a giant worm. Players must navigate through the internal areas of the worm or face being digested by the wall of stomach acid that closes in in them.

Keeping all three of the major campaigns, The Slime-san: Superslime Edition brings an extra ten exclusive levels in which they take control of Grandpa-san. Dynamic colours are a feature in these new levels and change the games color palette for each world.

As well as the original campaign in which Slime-San gets eaten by a worm, another of these campaigns is Blackbird’s Kraken which is essentially the same as the worm scenario, except this time players get eaten by a Kraken. This offers a different playing style due to being set underwater and even lets them control a Slime-San style submarine.

Sheeple’s Sequel will find players faced against a sheep that believes it’s an NPC inside of a video game and recodes himself to be the villain. Players will be faced with challenging levels, and with a field-of-vision implemented in some levels to make them harder.

The original Slime-San has been released for the Nintendo Switch, and we saw the announcement trailer for Slime-san: Superslime Edition land back in April. This edition marks the first time the title will be arriving onto PS4 and Xbox One.

The Slime-san: Superslime Edition will be available on June 22nd for Xbox One, and then four days later on the 26th June for PS4.
