Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new batch of screenshots of the upcoming action-JRPG God Eater 3.

The screenshots showcase first and foremost Claire Victorious, a highly qualified God Eater specialized in logistical support and first-aid. We also meet Nuadha, a massive Aragami that can smash the player character with a monstrous left arm, which sprouts tens of tentacles in burst mode.

Some of the images also show the “Dive” action, that can be performed by the player to rush towards an Aragami or to get out of the way quickly.

Last, but not least, we can take a look at Burst Arts and Burst Art Effects. Burst Arts are special attacks that can be performed while in Burst Mode, and can be customized into three different attacks depending on whether the player is standing on the ground, jumping in the air, or performing a quickstep.

Each Burst Art can be customized with a Burst Art Effect, that modifies it in several ways. Rage Smash, for instance, creates a shock wave in front of the character following the attack.

You can check out all the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent batch of direct-feed screenshots, and some footage showing gameplay from an event held in Tokyo a few weeks ago.

God Eater 3 will release in Japan and in the west this year for PS4 and PC. The PS4 version can be pre-ordered via Amazon.
