Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier’s Operation 21st Event Is Certainly Bittersweet

DMM Released a new event in its Muv-Luv mobile game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier, titled “Risking Life for Victory.”

The event is themed after Operation 21st in Muv Luv: Alternative, the battle against the Sadogashima Hive. It’s actually a rerun of an event from 2017, but it’s good for those who hadn’t joined the game by then.

Just by playing the event’s missions you can unlock three SSR TSFs, Haruko Kashiwagi’s Type-94 Shiranui, a Type00A Takemikazuchi in white livery, and an F-15E Strike Eagle Orbital Diver.

The related gacha also comes with SSR Haruko Kashiwagi and Michiru Isumi. I can’t say much to avoid spoilers for those who have not played Muv-Luv Alternative (and if you did not, you should), but the folks behind the game love to play with the fans’ hearts.

But this is Muv-Luv, so it should be no surprise.

On top of the event, those who linked their PC account with the recently-introduced iOS and Android versions will also receive the free SSR Yuna Katagiri, who happens to be a really powerful character, especially considering that she’s free.

Incidentally, the Golden Week boss rush event started last week is still ongoing

In other Muv-Luv news, you can check out our recent review of the main trilogy, and our interview with creator Koki Yoshimune, during which he shared a lot of interesting information, including a few tidbits on Strike Frontier.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
