Today, during a broadcast from SegaFes in Akihabara, Tokyo Sega finally provided the first look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Senjou no Valkyria 4: Eastern Front or Valkyria Chronicles 4 as it’ll be named in the west.
The game was showcased in handheld mode filmed from the screen, even if of course it’s still in development.
Interestingly, we also get the announcement that the original Valkyria Chronicles will be released for the Switch in Japan this fall. It’ll cost 1,990 yen, but those who will purchase Valkyria Chronicles 4 for Switch will be able to get it for only 500 yen. Of course, all the original DLCs will be included in the package.
Unfortunately, the Switch version of Valkyria Chronicles 4 for the Switch has also been delayed to the fall in Japan, and the two games will release nearly at the same time.
If you want to see more about the game, you can also enjoy our unboxing video of the Japanese 10th-Anniversary memorial edition, and a look at the first, second, third, and fourth DLC.
The western release of Valkyria Chronicles 4 will happen in the fall for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. You can already pre-order it on Amazon for all platforms.
