Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier Goes Into The Day After with New Event

DMM launched a new event on its mobile and browser game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier.

The event focuses on the assault on the JFK hive in Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After. For those unfamiliar with the series, it’s hard to explain anything about it, as The Day After happens after the ending of Unlimited, but before Alternative, so talking any detail would be massive spoiler territory.

By grinding the event, players are able to get two free TSF, Takeru Shirogane’s Type00C Takemikazuchi and Bernadette Le Tigre De La Rivière‘s Rafale.

The one issue with the event is that the two highest-level missions are massively unbalanced. You get to fight against Takeru himself, and his damage output is crazy. Luckily, you can get the two TSF and evolve them pretty easily just by grinding the third-to-last mission that is easy enough.

Unfortunately, there are no free pilots this time around, but those willing to try the gacha (which can also be used with free gems) can get Takeru and Bernadette themselves.

Below you can see all the new units, alongside quite a lot of art from the event itself, just because it’s so cool that I wanted to share 😀

In other Muv-Luv news, you can check out our recent review of the main trilogy, and our interview with creator Koki Yoshimune, during which he shared a lot of interesting information. Incidentally, we also have a giveaway to win ten copies of the full trilogy going on until Tuesday.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
