Bandai Namco released new information and screenshots for their upcoming action adventure God Eater 3.

First off, we learn about a new region known as the Ashlands which is home to a new breed of Aragami such as Anubis and Ra. Humanity in these parts has moved underground to shelters called Ports where they can survive hidden from the uninhabitable surface.

Also, we get information on the new God Eaters met in the game, who are now closer to the Aragami than in preview God Eater titles, making them strong and deadlier in combat. This also makes them resistant to the deadly air of the Ashlands. One of these new God Eaters is Hugo Pennywort, a man of action and a substantial leader. The game’s protagonist grew up with Hugo and so they consider each other brothers.

God Eater 3 will feature all-new God Arcs, such as the biting Edge God Arc, a dual-bladed weapon that focuses on quick slashes and stabbing attacks. We also learn about the Ray Gun, which provides an extremely strong ranged attack if timed correctly.

Additionally, we get details on the Engage System and Accelerator Trigger. is activated when teammates stay close to each other during missions to help promote close teamwork when striking Aragami. The Accelerator Trigger is a new passive skill that is activated with certain requirements such as performing a perfect guard.
