Metal Max Xeno for PS4 and PS Vita Gets Plenty of New Screenshots

Metal Max XENO, News, Originals, Platforms, PS Vita, PS4

Today Kadokawa Games released a large gallery of new screenshots and artwork of its upcoming open-world JRPG Metal Max Xeno.

First of all, we get to see a new tank, the Bizonte F, armed with a twin cannon.

One of the most interesting aspects of the game is the deep customization options. The first is the “Path of the Skill Arm” which is a training program for hunters left over by the fall of civilization. It starts with the player progressing on the Hunter job, and then clearing quests in order to improve several aspects of the character. The player will be able to allocate bonus points to various skills and perks that can be customized depending on the job and direction in which you want to grow.

The second element is vehicle customization, including the ability to swap out parts, improve weapons, and even engines. In the gallery we can see customized R-Wolf IV and Siege Humvee.

The second is changing and progressing jobs. There are six in the game: Hunter, Mechanic, Soldier, Medic, Gangster, and Survivor. You can change jobs freely and transfer skills between them.

It’s a good idea to start with the initial job and acquire the skills you need from it, then move to another.

You can check out the screenshots below. If you want to see more, you can check out the first trailer and screenshots, and a second batch featuring more characters, and the third, also showing members of the cast. A brand new trailer was also recently released.

Metal Max Xeno will launchin Japan exclusively for PS4 and PS Vita on April 19th. A western release was also announced, but we don’t have any details yet. We don’t even know who will publish it for now.
