Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Gets Launch Trailer, New Video Focusing on Sakura

The Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition released today, and Capcom is celebrating by releasing a brand new launch trailer.

The new release includes new modes, starting with the much anticipated and requested Arcade mode, the Extra Battle Mode, and a new V-Trigger for each character.

On top of the launch trailer, we also get a new gameplay video focusing on Sakura, who was also released today as a DLC character. The clip, narrated by Capcom Community and Esports Manager Matt Edwards, gives a short introduction on Sakura’s background and then moves on to explaining her basic moves.

We learn that Ryu’s biggest fangirl isn’t a kid anymore, and she graduated from high school. Now she works part-time at an arcade, by her moves definitely have not rusted.

If you already purchased the base version of the game, you can download the Arcade Edition update for free, and enjoy all of its modes and goodies. The only things you aren’t getting are the characters from season one and two, that are reserved to those who buy the shiny new package.

More new characters are also coming as part of the DLC Season 3. Three beloved returning characters are Blanka, Cody, and Sagat, while two new entries are Falke and G.

The Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is currently available for PS4 and PC.
