Closed Beta for VR Platformer Sprint Vector Will Begin Later This Week

Last month, Raw Data developer Survios announced it was working on a new VR game called Sprint Vector. Today, the American developer has unveiled additional information regarding the title’s closed beta.

According to the press release, Sprint Vector‘s private beta will begin on Friday, January 19 and will conclude on Sunday, January 28 at 8pm PST/11pm EST for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Gamers that were invited to partake in the beta will have access to three competitive maps, access to the entire roster, two never-before-seen solo challenge maps, and eight-player online races.

Applicants who have been approved to participate will receive an email, detailing further information; while those who recently obtained an Oculus Rift or HTV Vive and are interested in joining, beta applications are still open and will be available until the beta concludes.

Additionally, the developer also announced that the online multiplayer servers would be on each day from 5pm-8pm PST/8pm-1pm EST/17:00-20:00 GMT. During the off hours, as well as for the duration of the beta, players will have unlimited access to single-player content, which is a perfect for those who wish to have some offline practice.
