Bandai Namco has been fairly silent on Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown since November, but we get a nice little treat to celebrate the end of the Holidays.
The publisher updated the official website of the game and its Twitter account with two rather spectacular images. First of all we get a Su-30 against a majestic setting sun, followed by a trio made of an F-22, an F-18, and an F-16 with a long aperture star trail effect that looks really lovely. It also made you wonder how this was made, and if the game comes with a fancy photo mode. That being said, this is just speculation, so we’ll have to wait for official information.
You can enjoy both pictures in the gallery below. If you want to see more of the game, you can also watch a recent trailer showing the PlayStation VR feature, and enjoy a video of me playing a demo of the game, alongside the latest trailers and screenshots. If you want to see even better flying, you can also watch Producer Kazutoki Kono himself play another mission, read my own hands-on preview of the game, and our recent interview with Kono-san.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will release in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While we still don’t have a firm launch date, we’re finally in the year in which we’ll return to Strangereal, and I couldn’t be happier.
